The PA Guild
of Professional Chimney Sweeps will hold its’ 11th
Annual Charity Workshop
at Camp Lambec in E.
Springfield, PA on Lake
Erie, near Erie,
PA on Fri. & Sat. May 2 & 3, 2008.
Join us for hands-on experience repointing a masonry
chimney using several methods
including grinding, ArborTech saw, air chisels, etc.,
and then repoint with QuickPoint Mortar Gun,
mortar bag, hawk & slicker, etc.
We'll be installing:
*a free-standing woodstove, with thru-the-roof Class
‘A’ chimney with related
components.
*a woodstove insert with stainless steel, connected
liner.
*a fireplace restoration using Quali-Fyre masonry
components, smoke chamber parging with various
products, and a stainless steel
liner.
*a stainless steel liner with related components and
poured insulation, for gas water heater.
*more projects available depending on
turn-out/interest.

Non-members $ 25.00
Meals will be provided.
Cabins are available-bring your own blankets,
pillows, etc.; Hot shower on site, tenting area,
parking for camper/rv all convenient to work areas.
Thursday night arrivals(after 6pm) are welcome,
and encouraged, and all are encouraged to stay until
Sunday morning.
Brief Guild Meeting Sat. night at 7pm, following
dinner. Raffle for ArborTech saw will be held at
that time, winner must be present! New
members,
or those interested in joining the PA Guild are
welcomed!! Bring unused items/tools/parts, etc.
for a swap/trade/flea market. You never know
what you'll find!!
